We all need a little encouragement from time to time, and kids are no different. They need someone to believe in them. They need someone who can see the best in them. And, they need someone who can see what they can become and encourage them to get there.
In this Ted Talk, Rita Pierson gives a few reasons why every kid needs a champion. We think it’s worth a listen.
So, what do you think? What are some ways you can champion your children?
Your Homework:
What’s a homeschool blog without a little homework?
- Brainstorm three ways you can champion each of your kids. This could be things like helping them learn a new skill, helping them overcome a weakness, setting a new habit, making and keeping a goal, or just simple words of encouragement on a daily basis.
- Once you’ve made your list, pick one way per child and get to work!
