There’s a million ways to do the right thing. So, obviously there’s a million ways to start your morning off right. These lists are to get your own brainstorm process going on how you and your family can get off to a great start for a day of homeschool.
To get started, you’ll need three ingredients:

Ideas to Nourish Your Body:
- Move your body
- Yoga
- Aerobics
- HIIT
- Go for a walk
- Get outside for just a few minutes
- Shower
- Lemon water
- Smoothie
- Healthy breakfast
Ideas to Nourish Your Mind:
- Read from a classic novel
- Read from a non-fiction book
- Read the scriptures
- Listen to a podcast
- Say your favorite quote aloud
- Write in your journal
- Plan your day
- Turn on an upbeat song
Ideas to Nourish Your Soul:
- Start off with prayer
- Meditate
- Yoga
- Read scripture
- Listen to an uplifting podcast or inspirational message
- Repeat daily affirmations
- Listen to uplifting music
A few of the ideas overlap, but that’s what’s awesome. You can kill two birds with one stone!
Your Homework:
What’s a homeschool blog without a little homework?
- Pick one way to nourish yourself in the mornings: body, mind or spirit
- List out ten different ways you could nourish yourself, your child or your whole family in that category
- Pick one way and try it out for a week
- At the end of the week, reevaluate.
