We thought it would be fun to share a variety of schedules that different moms use for their homeschool. We will do this for a bit and hope you can find some inspiration. Just remember: everyone’s life is different. Circumstances, kids, demands, struggles, strengths, weaknesses, seasons, and, and, and… they are all different. So these schedules are meant to offer inspiration and not meant to make you feel like you aren’t doing enough. Take what works for you and throw out the rest.
Full Weekly Schedule
This schedule helps to give an idea of how a parent can homeschool with multiple kids. While Math and Language Arts are best taught at individual levels, all other core and elective subjects can be taught family style. This allows you to maximize your time, while allowing for deeper learning in each subject.
Daily Schedule
This daily schedule is the above weekly schedule broken down into a day.
Your Homework
What’s a homeschool blog without a little homework?
- Write down your weekly schedule
- Write down your daily schedule
- Now assess: What’s working? What isn’t working? What do you need to start? What do you need to stop? What do you need to continue?
