Words of encouragement go a long way and our children long to hear them! If you’re new here, we believe that homeschool requires good curriculum and lots of connection with your child. Children won’t learn from someone who they don’t love and trust or who feel don’t love and trust them.
One way we can show them of our love for them is through verbal praise. Nothing huge. Nothing fancy. It doesn’t have to come wrapped with pretty paper and bows. But telling them how proud you are can go a long way. And it’s simple, three little words: I’m so proud! In fact, most of the praise and love children crave comes packaged in three little words:
- I love you
- You’re doing great
- You’re the best
- You’re my favorite
- I’m so sorry
- You got this
- Yes you can
- I trust you
- Glad you’re mine
- You amaze me
- You did it
- I forgive you
- Let’s go play
You’re Homework:
What’s a homeschool blog, without a little homework?
- If you are feeling frustrated by your kids, try praising all the good things they do for one week
